bought what i thought was the upper mount.... does the mount differ from the lowered kit to reg height? i took the spring out of the box and set the top mount on top and it fell through....wtf? was i ripped off?

Wonder if you have only one half of an Arnott style upper mount? (Arnott upper mount has 2 pieces to it - an aluminum center section and a rubber isolator, but the pieces fit together, otherwise the aluminum section falls through)
