I have a question... there are two speaker holes in my rear deck because i dont have the audiophile system. i was wondering if those holes could fit 6x9`s without having to modify the holes, or are they for 6x8`s

the OE speakers were 6x9"

thanks alot. just making sure. didn`t want to have to pay circuit city extra to cut metal for the install..

6x9s?
I think that they are 6x8 holes.
I removed the stock woofers, and my infinity 6x9s did not fit by dropping them in the top. I had to mount them from the bottom.
They mounted just fine from the bottom.

I removed the 2 way infinity 6x9s that were mounted from the bottom. I could not get them to fit mounting them from the top.
Today got some polk 3 way 6x9s (db690) and I was able to mount them from the top. They fit great.
