Oh and I know its an LS series engine and no its not going into my LS.. Im more concearned about whats on top of it, I got a bid going on an M90 setup that has the inlet in the back, I wanna spin it around and do something similar to that Magnuson unit.. Gotta make a manifold for it to bolt onto tho..

the VVT is handled by 'phasing' the cam gear using a solenoid that is in the top of the timing chain cover. so no actual changes to the valve train that I know of.

i heard that there is support for adding the computer control of VVT to an xcal for a gen1 application. So, assuming we can get that, we would need to add a solenoid and what else? a different valve cover?

Maybe......but I'm looking foreward to getting an Xcal 3......after I get my Intake tube/exhaust tips done

really? wow - that's a major change.

the VVT is both a mechanical and software change.
on the mechanical side - the timing cover, vvt solenoid, solenoid wiring, PCM harness wiring, phasing cam gears, timing chains, ....

I believe the PCM on the 03+ is slightly different to allow for the input of the VVT and since it is CAN protocol - you cannot swap it in...

but it takes someone to try!!!

Since I am supercharged - I will stay away from anymore valve opening.... I have a proper stumble idle now ;)

I'm hoping to see some more vids on youtube Quik....I've seen your 3 and showed my shop/Lincoln dealership....I dunno how many times I've cleaned up their drool....but it's been pretty badass so far....

LOL......you let strangers in your driver's seat...with the keys next to the shifter?.......I question how comfortable you are with the plumber and mailmen :/

Quicker Lotus...I'm amazed at how pristine the interior is for a 1989 model.
