Story...

I was turning on to a highway and I put it in first and gunned it. Trying to keep the car straight I forgot to shift it and noticed that I was bouncing around 6500 - 7000. (It was not around there for more then 2-3 seconds.) I quickly shifted and went on with my merry way. lol

So my question is...

How high can we rev our cars safely?

you did it, thats it, and i wouldnt do it often, specially anyone who's got a 93-95, when the motor sees rpm's that high they like to launch a valve spring. the reason the rev limiter was put in is for that reason, so it doesnt blow up, but anything about 6000rpm is really pushing it.

Geno seems to love bouncing the Terminator off the rev limiter, and he's only gone through what, three motors or so?
