Question about Stainless Steel CAI

i purchased a CAI along with a KKM induction kit on ebay it came in today and everything seemed to be going along fine until i was almost finished and noticed if a small rubber piece was not included? or maybe im supposed to take it off the OEM piece heres a pic of what im talking about...


its the rubber piece that would in to the left of the MAF Adaptor so that it holds the connector in place, and how could i go about buying one maybe ken can help out on this, thanks

on mine - it is simple a rubber gromlet that holds the IAT sensor in place - you can get them anywhere.

rubber gromlet would have to be a specific size? or just come as one ill check out autobarn today thanks lou.

yeaa i jacked jeffs pic lol, but i guess ill measure it out to see the size for the outside, and so that the center piece fits snug for the IAT sensor. Ken you wouldnt happen to have extras would you?

The local guy that makes the stainless steel tube for me just gets them at the local automotive store. I'll ask him what the dimensions are and post it here.

and i finally got to install my exhaust this rainy weekend along with the lowering springs, alotta work lemme tell ya took a nice chunk off my saturday afternoon lol but now its great the handling is a PLUS id recommend it to anyone, when i get my car nice n clean ill post pics and hopefully get a video clip of the exhaust in action

No problem. A little detailing trick with the stainless steel tubes is to buy a Scotchbrite pad from a local automotive store and lightly scuff the tube up. Just go with the grain which is around the tube. That will make the stainless look great. Actually the stainless steel tubes are much easier to take care of than the polished ones.
