Question about intake tube.

You can use plastic from the resonator you took off - cut to size, glue or plastic weld in place, then fill, smooth and paint.

I would link to threads of tubes done by people like BAD97LSC, but am using a silly phone. :-(

Smooth over the areas with a body filler, let dry and sand smooth for a nice look once painted. Not strictly necessary, but makes the tube look better and eliminates any potential air gaps.

Sorry you left that one open. You can use an epoxy it will hold up a little better than body filler to the heat. It's just as sandable and just as easy to paint over.

This is what I done.

Started with this.

Used this to cut off what needed to be cut off.

Chopped it off.

I used the General Purpose epoxy in the pic up above. I put Gorilla tape on the back side of the holes and then stuffed a rag to use as a backing. I filled both holes, let sit over night and then sanded down kinda smooth. Wasn't really concerned with it looking perfect. Painted the spots black because the epoxy was clear.

I cut out pieces to fit the holes from the scrap pieces then epoxyed them. After the epoxy dried I put some silicon on top of that to ensure no leaks. Once everything dried I used automotive bondo to make the smoothest possible surface. Then I painted it of course.
