Hey guys,

I never make it over here, but I have a question... There are 5 LSs in the Local Upullandpay and something occurred to me. I kind of forgot that these cars have the battery in the trunk, and could possibly be grabbed up to run cables in a different car. My question is this... Does the positive/ground cables run all the way to the front of the car? Are they loomed with other wire? Do they run inside the body of the car?

Thanks guys, any help is appreciated!

passenger side, back to front, inside a wire channel.

not really sure if it is tapped along with with all the rest of the wires or not

It's a PITA to pull, but most yards don't know what they're looking at and will charge $5 or so. Need to cut off the battery connector or remove most of the rear seat to get it through.
The bulkhead connector is also really nice. Disconnect from the wheel well, then there's a small screw (8mm head?) that holds the housing in place from the inside.

As an alternative, 2ga welding cable works great. It's what I've been using as primary circuit wiring on my Silverado for the last 5 years. Last time I checked it was about a dollar a foot. No disassembly of a car required, and its very very flexible making it easy to run in tight areas. Welding cable is usually used in very harsh environments, far more harsh than under a hood. I did wrap it all with ribbed cable loom for better impact protection though.
