Figured I'd make a post about this while I'm waiting for my sons haircut, been curious for awhile.
My "driver side" puddle lamp works fine, however the passenger side doesn't. I took it out maybe two months ago and found that the bulb was blown. I purchased and installed a new bulb, and to my surprise it still didn't work. I don't see any corrosion on or near the contacts/bulb fitting.
I've ignored the issue for a while but every night I'm reminded. I would highly doubt that the driver and passenger side puddle lamps operate on separate fuses. Would it be safe for me to test power to the wires that connect to the puddle light assembly without messing stuff up? How would you guys go about diagnosing this? Thanks and God bless
