Whats up everyone. I've been hard at work pullin 19 hour days for about a month and a half now and im almost ready to drop the motor back in. Let me know what you guys think of the engine compartment, cause the decision to bedline was made halfway into a thirty rack:confused: but im diggin it! Here are my latest pics.

O.M.F.G.!

Sexiest. Engine. EVER!!!

The bedlining was a great idea, too!

That reminds me of exactly what i have planned for mine.

I just hope mine comes out as nice as yours. Very good job!

Thanks alot everyone. I appreciate the positive feedback. I do need some help from you guys. I know how horrible body kits look on these but my car came with side skirts and a rear bumper. The skirts look terrible and belong on the front of a minute rice box. But im in love with the rear bumper. It just makes her ass so plump and sexy just the way i like em;)
So im gonna try to cut the skirts down to match the body lines but I need a subtle clean sexy front bumper. Any ideas? Ive seen 1 or 2 at shows that look decent but can not find any for sale. Any suggestions would be cool. Thanks in advance. JJ

Defiently look into the grand prix? bumper moulded onto the stock bumper. If you can do it right it looks awesome.

Staff is that what that is? A grand prix lower valance molded onto a stock bumper? That looks really good. Does anyone have any pics of this on a gen 1? Also kustomkid if you are planning on doing the shave job, you should also think about doing something with the chassis harnesses that run on top of the shock towers. Those pics you see are after I relocated them. It took alot of time but really worth it in my opinion. If you need a how to let me know. JJ

From the thread I read it came from a grand am not sure of the year I am sure a few other people know Lee's car better then I but when I think of front Facias for marks this is the only way to go. Not sure how it would look on a first gen.

i like the engine bay. engine has too much red for me though. looks good if you like it.

Thanks alot scorpio. Here is some pics of the just finished modified engine harness. I couldn't see covering up that gorgeous intake with those 2 huge harnesses. So I moved the crossover point to behind the throttle body and rerouted the ones that came down the front. So now all thats left are the injector harnesses.
The only thing I havent figured out is what to use for loom. Im looking for something unique either black or something I can paint that stainless color I've been using. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Now that the harness is done I'm about ready to drop her in. Hopefully ill have pics this week.

Before you drop the motor back in the car you should consider replacing your IAC and EGR valve just to make it easy on yourself in the future

So far I did replace the IAC valve but did over look the EGR. Good lookin staff. Yesterday I installed new manifold gaskets and did a mufflerectomy on my buddies 96 ivory and ended up breaking the EGR tube. Ive disassembled 6 or 7 marks now and every time that damn foil stuff ends up tearing. I used the torch to heat up the fitting and everything. So being the good buddy that I am hooked him up with my brand new 120 dollar tube just to get him running. In the end it was worth it cause he loved his new exhaust note. Drove it 4 hours straight as soon as I was done he liked it so much.
