probably a stupid question

i just put my car in storage, and usually take the battery out. this year i want to keep it in and start the car every couple of weeks. what terminal should i disconnect while it's sitting so the battery isn't getting any draw. some say positive some say negative?

There was a saying we had to learn with reference to safe battery disconnection and re-connection: Earth Off First, Earth On Last. I would just disconnect both terminals in this order.

you can pull off one or both but negative always should be the first removed and last reinstalled.
