Hello all,
Sort of a newb here, but I currently own a lovely 2002 ls with 112,000 miles on here. Besided the usual coils, transmission, hydro fan problem I have loved this car.
My issue actually is crazy. I ended up swapping the hydro fan unit out and totally replacing with a electric fan. Took it to a in town mechanic to have him wire it up properly to where it came on with the ignition switch....and this guy just wrapped the wire on the fuse and plugged it in!!!!! Luckily i checked after work was done, got my money back and almost slapped the taste out of his mouth for doing some crappy work.
So after that experience I am just going to try and do it myself. I checked on here and saw that some used fuses, and some sodered it to the main power supply located somewhere in the wheel well? Would anyone know where to soder or fuse this too?
I got the other wire grounded, so just looking to get this puppy fired up, but wanted to do a safe and reliable wire up. Tried the thermostat that goes into the radiator, but was having issues with it comming on so scrapped that idea.
Thanks
