ok so i have to change my pressure line but ive looked at the manual an it doesnt have any info on how to change it. I know its just two connections but how do i get to the one by the steering box?

i dropped the k member because i had the car on jackstands already because i was replacing the transmission. made it super easy.
otherwise, you're going to have to unbolt the rack and drop it a bit.

A tip if our not replacing the L shaped line at the rack the hose attaches to. Make sure to use a back up wrench on that fitting so you don't bend it as well ;)

IS there a trick or technique ot getting a wrench on the fitting at the power steering pump? I am reconencting it and I just cant get a wrench on it. I thought of removingt he pump to do it but then the fitting blocks the mounting bolt hole.

Yes, drop/tilt the rack forward like chris mentioned above ;) Using stubby wrenches will help too...

I used a crow's foot. I hate that fitting. It's really hard to get to. I need to replace the seal on it since I didn't last time.

mine appears to have a slow leak here, the previous owner said he had the PS pump either replaced or serviced, can't remember... maybe I just need to tighten it s chink or two

one of the fittings is a swivel so it won't tighten solid . as I call them sobs also going to replace the lines on the 97 with shorter hoses and reroute them.

eh the one they're referring to above is attached to the LH side of the rack, looks to be a bear indeed...the one in my pic is easier to access for sure
