I seen in my fuse box a spot for power folding mirrors. Was this an option for these cars in 2000? Mine even had a fuse in the spot. I have never seen an LS that had this feature. Also, when did the LS lose the rain sensing wipers? And why? I happen to like that feature alot... though it scares the sh!t out of me sometimes when it goes off randomly when I start my car early in the morning. lol :p

Lincoln LS never had power folding mirrors. Stopped using rain sensor wipers with early production 2004 because some people did not understand them and others did not like them. I have an early production 2004 and have them and like them, then again I live in the desert.

Says "Power Folding Mirrors" Also there is a spot for Headlight Adjust? Do the headlights auto adjust?

No power auto adjust/leveling head lamp, no power folding mirrors on the Lincoln LS.

I'm pretty sure all those accessories are available on the S-Type, and we do share the same platform if I'm not mistaken

The euro LS with right hand drive has head light levelers by law, they may have power folding mirrors also, maybe they used the same fuse box that first year of production 2000 but not available on domestic LS.

Interesting... I never knew there was a Euro market LS with RHD. Any idea what Euro countries they were sold / meant to be sold in?

Japan. (that's not Euro though)

There are some pics that float around here from time to time of a RHD LS.

that'd be funny if they stoped reflecting light....

Oh and the rain sensing wipers on these don't work worth a :q:q:q:q.

Ah ok, Jap. Yeah, I forgot all about the Japanese and their RHD U.S. imports.

I happen to like the rain sensor... I thought it was kick ass (no one else I know has one).

Looking for RHD LS check www.ebay.co.uk or the japanese ebay, but I cant remember the link off hand.. Lol, I like to shop ebay internationaly:)

EDIT: also if you decide to check out the UK ebay link and dont know how to convert Euro's to dollars then I advise this currency converter -->http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

Currently: 1euro = $1.3

lol, I have always wanted to get a skyline shipped to Canada and have someone there tag & insure it for me. If its tagged and insured in canada, you can legally drive it in the US :D

I also love the rain sensing wipers. Mine work great.

Ok, that's a little more helpful about the power folding mirrors. I wonder why it was even in our manual rather than just saying its a spare... and I wonder why they put a fuse in it? lol. I love my rain sensing wipers, especially on misty days where you would normally have to keep messing with adjuster to change the speed or turn it off , turn it back on.. make it fast... turn it down. I used to hate that... Now its no problem :p

But if they made any LS in any country with power folding mirrors... would that mean our cars would be equipped to utilize them if we were to install some? Idk... would be another way to make your LS fully unique.

The one I was referring to is person that lives in England and post on another paid Lincoln LS site. He has since sold his rare for England, RHD V8, said there were a few RHD V6's; and purchased a RHD Bullet Mustang. He had posted a few photo's of right hand side dash and euro tail lamps.

The Lincoln LS was never marketed or sold in England, to my knowledge. If that guy had an LS, he must have had it imported or something. Same with the Mustang. Never been marketed in England. He must have either known someone on the 'inside' or got it through an import specialist or something.

The gentleman retired from Ford of England after 30 years said a few RHD V6 and his V8 were "brought over", his Bullet Mustang was converted to RHD.

That makes sense. Thought I was losing my mind! Lol.

so we could get euro headlamps that auto level??? that would be awesome

They "don't auto level", there is a round rotary switch similar to our panel dimmer that you manually adjust for added weight. I believe it is not the lamp that moves but the surround that holds the headlamps that moves.

Good luck finding the mechanisms.

Sounds to me like more trouble than it's worth
