Hey Sapperfire, thanks for all you help. I finally got this car to work right and replacing the ECU was the final solution. No I am looking to get my headlights working and my tranny fixed.

throttle positioning sensor? Mine had the 542 code, the tps sensor helped, but I think I am looking at a wiring problem, and so are you. Helps to have all dealer books on this car. Fords are notorious for wiring problems btw.
