Plug Gap

new plugs should be checked for proper gap before you put them in even if they are to spec when they leave the factory

The OEM (or any factory gapped plugs) may leave the factory with the correct Gap, but more than once I've ran into instances where the gap was far less than "advertised". I only suspect that loading, shipping and unloading the boxes that contain these plugs aren't exactly treated with the utmost of care.

Cliff notes: It's always a good idea to check gaps on pregapped plugs.
