Please Quick!!

Cheap, but low quality. I think these are the ones Jamie97lsc had trouble with - as in some parts had to be re replaced after a short time. If you want better quality parts that will last, then get the Moog/TRW parts from Rockauto or similar.

Do not get them unless you like parts that rust fast and bend.

As blue said, go with MOOG or TRW, which are the same so shop TRW. I found that the pricing from Advance Auto was on par with RockAuto once you factored in shipping - even after using a discount code.

Rockauto is a great place to get parts for us guys who don't have the option of shopping around for auto parts. It would cost me the same for gas to go to an Advance as the shipping from Rockauto.

But I always try Max first.

As I posted before in another thread about this I had tried to purchase parts from that EBAY vendor and things did not work out and the guy lied too! That was without ever getting a part :shifty:

I buy from RockAuto quite a bit so go for them.

Remember this also: if you are on coils, order uppers and lowers for a 96' T Bird. (they are cheaper vs Mark VIII parts)

Try your local Advance Auto parts store for the TRW parts. The last set I bought several months ago the Mark Vlll parts were cheaper than the T' Bird. Don't ask me why, but who cared.

im going to do coils while the car is apart doing the front end. Now go for upper lower control arms from t bird? Nothing else?

Check price for both the Mark and T Bird and go for the cheaper quote. I know when i ordered mine from Rockauto in march, there was quite a price difference! I know T Bird uppers and lowers will fit ok, not sure about inners and outers etc. as i havent done those yet. Likely will be the same though...

dont buy that garbage from bestsuspension, i bought that same deal for my 98 and in 8 months i had to do it all over just to save a buck, and me out of all people know better, i learned the hard way, like i knew i would. i get these parts right at advance auto, all trw/moog and always in stock.

Another note about using parts for the T-bird-
You can still use T-bird parts even if you still have the air ride, everything is the same except the UPPER CONTROL ARM. And even that is only slightly different, it has a place to mount the ride height sensor...

But all the other parts are the same. And I say that from experience.

well i guess its settled.... no cheapy... i saw it before and almost picked them up in an instant. but glad i didnt and got a few opinions before i almost fell for the cheap route again.. Thanks fellas

I made that mistake, and with all the up and down, I killed the lower and upper balljoints in under a month..
Get the right stuff and do it once.
