Anybody got the pinouts for the obd2 connector in a 2000 LS

it's standard ODBII - call cars since 1996 use the same connector, most Fords use the same pinouts, but there are differences between brands.

I hope you are not planning to connect into it directly - it is a bus interface, meaning you have to have an 'box' to interface properly with the bus, pulling/pushing data and the someway to reverse engineer the data into meaningful usable data.

there are lot of DIYer projects on the net that build their own simple ODBII reader....

The reason I asked was becasue I bought a Laplogger OBDII reader and it keep saying no data make sure key is on. I wanted to make sure the pins on the connector match up to where they suppose to because they sell brand specific readers and I might not have the right one I just wanted to be sure before I sent it back.

what year is your ls? if it's 03+ using CAN protocol your unit may not be compatible.
