Well for Xmas I got a Pioneer AVH-3300BT. My factory radio was acting weird and stopped playing cd's so I am grateful to have music of my own selection again.

It really made everything sound 10x better makes the 2 hours a day I spend in the car go by much better. I took all my random mp3's that I had and put them on the flash drive and have been enjoying the randomness. It's hard to believe I liked some of the stuff that has popped up.

Looks great - I had this same unit installed about a week ago and so far I really like it although there are a couple things that bug me.

I had this same model in my LS. I love how it has so many options right on the face, and the SD slot is a godsend.

one thing that drove me crazy about that dash kit when i used it was how far back it sat the radio. if you use a drimmel or rotary tool and trim off about .25" (dive or take by how "deep" the face of the radio is) of the entire plastic edge of the dash kit so that the face of the radio is flush with the dash kit, makes it look as good as factory!

It will look the same just all black unless they swap the whole center with gen II pieces.

Im about to install a kenwood double din in my 06. Next up will be some upgrades to the other parts of my system...maybe get a voltmeter in there too.

True. Just wanted to see one but do have a good visual in my head. I do not want to give up my half din Epic 150. I like having the voltmeter functionality it offers without cutting or placing it in a not so oem appearing location.

Did you paint that radio trim bezel or does it come in that color? It matches well.

metra makes two models, the one with the "S" at the end of the model number is perfectly pre painted.
