Nice car!

Looks just like another member's last car which he wrecked last year some time.

Two things, well three actually... First off that LSE has been lowered my friend (which is a good thing), second off it has the Gen II LSE spoiler on it as well (also good) and third those are not the original wheels (maybe good).

I was gonna say. It looks an inch or more lower than my genII lse. Mine still has the monster truck stance.

I didn't even realize the car was lowered...the guy I bought it off of said it was 100% original...however I can say this thing can power through bends and has no body roll what so ever...as for the spoiler it is original as mine is identical to the one listed here and they said it came on 2002 lse's http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/200... to the color of the car and look badass IMHO

The wheels look good. Don't change them. Maybe get some spacers to pushem out a bit.

Also the spoiler on your car is not an original LSE spoiler for the gen1, yours looks to be one of the "m3 look" spoilers off ebay.

Thanks I definitely agree On keeping the rims ...just wonderin if anyone has a pic of an actual lse gen 1 spoiler just curious what they look like...the one I have on there is nice and subtle IMHO

Hey, what a nice rear end.............Wonder who's it is :D

I was going to say that wasn't the gen1 lse spoiler either. Wonder why they took off the lse wheels before they sold it to you, maybe he wasn't a fan of the charcoal look.

The gen1 lse wheels are basically the same ones you have one, just different paint scheme. They are like a machined/charcoal finish with a chrome lip a believe.

That's a 1st get LSE bumper with 2nd gen LSE rear spoiler and non LSE silver sport wheels. I think the OEM 1st gen LSE wheels would look good on a silver car.

Thanks guys again for all the information on this ride....after looking at the gen 1 spoiler i definitely like the style one mine has its nice and subtle...As for the car not having the original lse rims i dont mind at all i actually really like these as they are extremely close to the same color as the exterior of the car and i think it gives it a clean look....As for the lowering kit im definitely going to put this on the lift to take a look and see if they did the right thing and put eibach's on it...The ride of this car is a little stiff but drives better than any lowered vehicle ive ever driven it has a nice sports car feel to it when cornering

I have a gen 1 LSE as well. I love the kit and the look.

I replaced the grill right away but they are slick cars

LS4me that is the Wings West spoiler. Where did you get the idea that was the first LSE spoiler?

LSE was not actually made until 02 and it was based off the styling ques of the McLaren LS which had the 02 style LSE Spoiler.
See?

Since im a newb to this whole ls thing i have a question for you guys....how can i tell if my lse is equipped with an oil cooler this may seem like a dumb question but i just wanted to know as it affects what oil filter i purchase for the vehicle....also im planning on running mobil 1 5w20 synthetic wondering if anyone has had good luck running this oil?

From the one my dealer was selling (and no, they didn't do any of that stupid one-off Presidential type crap. At the time [maybe still do] Ford had the controlling interest in the dealership). I don't remember the year, but IIRC, that was the first spoiler I saw on an LSE. Then they changed to that "flat" one. I remember as I wasn't very fond of the 3-piece spoiler. Wings West may easily have been the supplier.
