Springs, intake, especially intake and true CAI intakes at that, along with exhaust systems can be found way cheaper than the ones for the LS.
I mean if you don't own an LS yet, and have never been to this site and don't know about LSKoncepts and have never heard of doing a remote turbo before. You can't tell me that for a guy like me putting a supercharger on an LS is the same as putting one on a mustang. It simply isn't the case. I can go to a number of shops in this area who all have experience doing great stuff with mustangs and if I talk to them about a supercharger on my LS they will laugh at me. So far I can count one person who ever supercharged an LS, and a few people who have turbo'd their LSs. I can't count the number of these done on mustangs because you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. How many body kits are available for the LS? How many for a Vette? Or a Honda? I stand by my statement. You can do anything you want to an LS. Most people just don't want to deal with the cost and customization necessary and that is what they are really complaining about.
As for the costs you mention above I agree that the big brake kit you are referring to is the same for all cars. But if I have a ricer I can find a pos kit for less that says it works with my specific car. The same holds true for everything else on the list.

and wipers cost the same for the LS as any other car.
