Anyone here taken their cdl lisence test? I got a class b with a passenger endorsement and air brakes. I got my permit back in like November before I started with the mouse, took the skills test today. Its pretty nerve wracking if you have never done it before, especially your Pretrip brake tests... Drove it for about 30 minutes and changing lanes and such. But, I passed, never driven a bus on the road till today but now I'm certified :). As a tech I wont really drive the buses often but I will drive the service truck, and that requires a CDL. Oh well, discuss!

Ah, breaker one-nine, this here's the Rubber Duck. You gotta copy on me, Pig Pen, c'mon? Ah, yeah, 10-4, Pig Pen, fer shure, fer shure. By golly, it's clean clear to Flag Town, c'mon. Yeah, that's a big 10-4 there, Pig Pen, yeah, we definitely got the front door, good buddy. Mercy sakes alive, looks like we got us a convoy...

I got my CDL a long time ago with all the trimmings (Tanker, Doubles/Triples and HazMat). Back then, pre-trip was something along the lines of "yup. The tires are on the truck. Windshield is in place, lets go".

I've let the HazMat lapse, but I've kept the CDL endorsements, even though I haven't used it in at least... 300 years... or so it seems.

Ive driven vehicles bigger than a bus but not with a cdl.

Just military vehicles though. same principles apply though air brakes and everything....pretty fun.

congrats danno. just another notch in the belt right, its good to have it you never know. someday you might want to be a gear jammer, king of the road! then we can call you snowman.

I was close to getting a job that would've needed a class B (until I met the people I'd have been working for... hell no.) Anyway I studied for about 20 minutes and passed the written tests with ease, but I never got any further than that.
