This isn't really big deal, but i havent seen to many threads on this and was wanting to know everyone's opinion. it will be a little bit before i could upgrade my brakes so i was going to just paint the calipers. what colors/ ideas do you guys have? i was just going to with black. i thought it would go best with my color...???
 
Your color is that beige kind of gold color?

I would try to match that or do black.
 
Just search "caliper cover" on ebay. Tons come up in different sizes. Not hard to find if they fit, they give a diagram on some of the auctions and they come in all colors and some give you the Brembo decal with it which you can choose to stick on or not to. They adhere with silicone I think.
 
With my Silver Birch LS and red emblem's front and back, I went with red.
 
Thats what I want to do with my silver metalic frost but my emblems are silver with red stars so I may go with silver and do a lincoln star in red. I seen that on here once before and looked nice!

That would look good.

There is a vendor that supplies decals printed LINCOLN in red on silver calipers would look good also. I have seen the white LINCOLN on red calipers, maybe someone will chime in on with photo's and the vendor.
 
What vendor is that? I hope it's not Xenonmods.com. I ordered some Lincoln decals from this douche back in May, and I STILL haven't gotten them. Wound up opening a dispute through PayPal. I was going to use them as kind of like a stencil where I would put them on the front calipers and then paint over them. Then peel them off to reveal the "LINCOLN" where it would be the stock aluminum and the rest of the caliper would be black. :mad:

Anyway, I say black. That's what I painted mine. No need to call attention to some tiny ass stock calipers with something more noticeable. IMO, of course.
 
I want just the star. For some reason the text is just over doing it IMO.
 
me too. i think i might give the red a try first though.i'm going for a sporty look not luxury
 
i think i'll go with black. i think it would go best with these lighter colors.
 
Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. I think other colors will look out of place on the lighter cars, so it's either color match or black.
 
if you are goin for the sporty look, go with red. the luxury look, go with black. just my opinion
