Ok so I need to get my right inner tie rod replaced. I was quoted around 250 for parts, labor and alignment. I dont think thats a bad price, but I looked into it and my God it looks painful to do. Was wondering if its easier then it looks and I should do it yourself and go get an alignment or if I should just quit pinching pennies and go pay to have it done?

Thats an easy swap and you should be able to save $150 by doing it yourself and then have an alignment done.

the tie rod is about 25 bucks, takes about 20 minutes to change, then you go get some beer and get a clicker going and sit back and laugh how cockeyed your tires are, then sober up and go get it aligned.
