Ran the scanner and the only code that came out was P0301. Did not have a noticable miss and the car seemed to run just fine.

I replaced the plugs and COP's and the car ran better than ever. Still no miss, stumble or any signs of anything wrong. A few days later the P0301 came back.

I'm thinking of switching the injectors on 1 & 2 just to see if the code follows. If not, then I'll do a compression test.

Anything obvious or easy that I'm missing first???

make sure you are clearing the code and you aren't reading something from the memory.
otherwise, i like the idea of moving the injector. make sure you get the fuel rail sealed. Terry will give you some motivation if necessary. ;)

Yeah, don't mess up on the O-rings. Exciting things can happen.

Yeah, I'm using an XCal 3 to scan and clear. It goes away for a few days and then comes back.

Done yet?

Nah, car's at the exhaust shop getting some work done. Thanks Geno....

It gives me a day to give some love to my other financial burden and my wife's first source of aggrivation:
