Ive been looking at the new Mustangs and they seem to have a simular shape as the LS and I was wondering if anyone has tryed some of the stuff to see how much work needs to fit the componets. I think that the chin spoiler would be a very close fit to the non LSE LS

1. That lip wont work without extensive modification. Even the Mach 1 lip that attaches under the bumper needs to be cut and shaped, something like this would have to be cut up and re shaped completely. I cant see the means justifying the end result.

2. Would look horrible

3. would look really good, would need work to fit, but would really set off the front bumper. Without measuring them or seeing the full shape, it looks like most of the cutting would be on the bumper and opening it to fit the shape. I kinda like this idea a lot.

I think the best bet would be bumper wise, to get the two pieces and go to town shaping. But if you don't have a lot of experience it could turn out to be very overwhelming. But with the right pockets, you could let a shop handle in.

Right now Im working on a project using custom pieces, and its taken a better part of 6 months (off and on) to get it to were its workable, and there is still a crap load of work to do before they go to paint. One off parts take a lot to perfect.

See I was at by buddys house and he just got a new hood for his 03 stang gt and I asked if I could see what his hood scoop would look like on my LS and it looked real good

Uh, NO! Fake hood scoops don't look good on any car. PERIOD.

The LS never had a hood scoop, it isn't even a nostalgic feature like it is on Mustangs. Leave it off. Seriously. Don't be ghetto with your Lincoln.

A real functional shaker hood would look awesome on the LS...its been done before.

A plastic stick on will look like ass.

Well I did the drawing to see what it would look like with a couple of things id like to do and yes thats drawing isent finished im still working on it. and yes I am putting a Stang scoop on my LS. Ohh and alot of you guys put the Mach 1 chin spoiler on the LS why not a Mustang GT scoop.

That was just a photoshop when SPSully was thinking about a scoop .

Chin spoiler IMO just fills out the bumper a little more. I think it is a good look. I hate stick on hood scoops; they are even worse than AutoZone stick on chrome fender vents.

Good drawing though, I do like the bumper. Maybe you could draw that up with the non-LSE bumper for those of us who aren't that lucky.

I like the idea of the drawing, but yet at the same time I think its a bit far...I wouldn't do that to any stock LS, you kinda have to have all the mods to blend in for it to look right.
