Orion v2 vs. LED

Why don't you guys just fight over my lights on eBay? Sheesh! lol. Then you don't have to wait :D

July? Hmm I was trying to have them installed by april..do u know if umnitza is the only one who makes then for a Gen 2?

Yeah and are they shipping to individual addresses or only one and that person is gonna ship to everyone else??

I am hoping they just tell me to have certain people make them an offer and I'll give them a list. The other company wanted to ship the side markers all to my house and have everyone pay shipping. I'm willing to do it but it's cheaper if we can just get them shipped individually.

CCFL's are the tubes that light up evenly and are fragile, thus can't spread out. LED rings have 60 led's, I think, next to each other to shape the ring. The life of ccfl rings are like 20k hours but led's are about 100k hours. CCFL's are rated at 36k MCD and LED's are rated at 100K MCD, this is brightness.

CCFL's also operate from gas.

I dont know how cold weather affects that but it may cause them to freeze?? and road vibration may cause them
to crack and break.

Yeah that too, ccfl wont work well in cold weather.

oracle makes gen2 rings, but they are ccfl. It's a gen1 pictured but it says gen2 kit

If anybody wants a set of these you can have mine for the low. I bought them first, then saw the umnitzas and changed course without ever installing the ccfl's. Personally I think if a person has a Gen 2 it would be crazy to do what it takes to open those headlights and then put something other than the LED's in.
