Not gonna say which brand and style wheel, i'll save that for when I get pics of them on the car but I need to know what the best tire size is for a 19x8.5 wheel with +38 offset. I was thinking 255/40/19 all around so I can rotate them but i'm also tempted to get a 275 width tire for the back... what do you guys think?

Also, how much do the stock 10 spoke chrome wheels weigh?

The problem with the staggered tires is finding them the same overall diameter. I can only imagine it would be even worse with 19s. But yeah, I think 275s out back would look good. You probably want 245s for the front.

I'm having a hard time finding a tire brand that reccomends mounting a 19 x 8.5 rim with a 275 tire...? The widest I can find is 255? Also, should I go for a 40 or 35 tall tire? The 35 is around 26 inches tall and the the 40 is 27...

I think you need to stay closer to 26" diameter.

If your going with the 275 on a not recommended size rim then the taller sidewall will help.IMO I'm assuming the 8.5 wide rim is smaller than recommended. Knowing you have 4.30 gears the taller tires will only help you out on the road.

You'd need 9.5" wheels for 275's.
