Alright, now that I got the car up and running good it's time to start thinking about modifications. I have a 2006 LS sport.

The only things I am considering are exhaust, intake, and HID's. Window tiniting is already on the way.

So if anyone has different types of these things which one do you guys recommend. As far as I can infer I am really limited on my intake options anyway. Although for the exhaust I know there are some options, so I just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on the different types, not anything crazy loud.

For the HID's I know that there are some floating around that were OEM for the car, but for the money are there better versions? How hard is the install, I know nothing about them other then I like them.

OEM HID's are the most expensive but the easiest to install and the best overall quality. The ballast is actually built into the bottom of the light under a cover and of very high quality. The ballast alone costs more than a aftermarket hid kit.

All you need to do is file down a tab and they just plug in and install the same as the halogen lights. You can then sell the halogens to someone and make part of the money back.

For exhuast you can go very cheap and get good sound. Get some basic mufflers and tips and have a shop cut off the old stuff and either clamp or weld it on.

I would suggest clamping if you want to change it later on and you could do it in your own driveway instead of putting the car on a lift.

The intake you can get either the KKM or K&N. Both are good but the first mod i would do is the HID's. They are a huge improvement over halogen. While youre doing that i would swap the stock halogen high to a hoen bulb for a better color match and a chrome bulb in the corner.

I've had both the kkm and the k&n and I would highly recommend the k&n over the other one. It's louder and it seems like the performence is better as well.
If you want to just turn up the sound of the exhaust to give it a nice purr most people just get magnaflow mufflers and tips installed. It really makes the car sound good. But if your looking for something really loud look at something else. The mags are good and sound great but there are some people on here who have them and are now replacing them because they want a louder sound.

Hid's I don't know. I like my oem ones. I don't really know much about the kits.

Why are these the only mods you want to do??
Chrome blinker bulbs go along way on the car. They make the corner headlights look less orange when looking straight on at them and also takes the orange look out of the corner of the rear tails. I love my and for the price of chrome bulbs it's an easy and cheap thing that really goes along way.
Other things alot of people do:
Angel eyes in headlights,
Clear corners in headlights,
Tinted tail lights,
Spoiler (lip)
Wheels,
Lowering springs,
Rotors,
Led bulbs everywhere,
When my car is done it will have all of these things done to it. And some more secret things I got up my sleeve lol

x2. im installing LED turn signals right now, and all im thinking is "daamn i wish i had bought the hoen bulbs so i dont have to pull out these headlights again"

I changed my rear turn signal bulbs to the chrome ones last night & it is a very nice look compared to the orange egg yolk look with stock bulbs. I got them off eBay & they are very good quality. Love the look!

You will be impressed with the diference the K&N makes in the sound. You can't go wrong upgrading to HID's, it's a lot easier than it looks, not saying you were concerned with that. Definitely throw some "chromed" bulbs in there too
