I sandblasted theses wheels a few weeks back, with the plans of doing something with it. First I thought about polishing them, I thought about powerdercoating them, but what color? I also thought about painting silver again. Any ideas?

Can they be chromed?

I think oem wheels look great chrome. Not so much when powdercoated.

What are your plans for them, ie: sale or use them yourself? If you are going to sale them, then I would paint them silver again like they were. If it was going back on my vehicle, then I would imagine color matching or chrome possibly, but you would have to get chromed centers to go chrome route.

i have a white car. if they were going on my car, i would paint them silver. i don't like chrome wheels on white cars. not my thing.
my 2 cents

i would get them powder coated silver if you put them back on your car, way nicer, and easier to take care of

my opinion, thats an ugly style rim, no matter what color it is

i have a set of them in chrome i cant give the :q:q:q:q away! you can powdercoat them but you cant powdercoat the center caps, you'll have to spray paint them. cant powdercoat plastic!

wheels

I've got 6 of these in varying condition. Just bought two more NOS in the original boxes for $160/pair. In chrome, they look good when clean.

Thought about taking an old pair and having them widened for some serious meat in the back.

Whew, I was hopin I wasn't the only one that thinks those are eww

greg are you 70? you would choose them over your chrome 10 spokes? and you call us crazy, 20 spokes and snowflakes are good for 3 things, drag wheels, hose reels, and scrap metal!

You guys are crazy. Nothing wrong with theses wheels. With a decent paint job, these are very presentable.

I have had 3 Continentals prior, and those look like the same ones that were on 2 of the 3 I had. I think they look good in opinion. I like those better than the ones I have now.

I agree.
On a Dark Car, chrome 20 spokes look Super Classy. they look a lot better than Snowflakes. Keeping chrome 10 spokes clean would be a little easier tho.

I think that wheel needs help but its not entirely ugly imo either. I think that a polished finish on the face of the wheel (I dont know what you coud do with the cap though) with the windows painted black would look the best. Black face with polished windows would not look too bad but not as good as the other way around. Its the damn plastic center section.

Is there another center piece that metal from say an early SC wheel or another Mark wheel fit those?? Im aware of the longshot here. =)

Other than that I would use them for a foul weather wheel/tire set.

I don't put much value in fancy wheels. If this had been my first Mark, like so many on here I would be sporting these wheels. If it's anything I learned, adding bigger wheels isn't going to change the price of your car in the end when you sell it, or you try to sell it. So I'll keep these wheels in the corner of my shed. If I use them on something in the future, time will tell. Someone will pop on here soon enough looking for some 20 spokes.

I like those wheels in chrome I had a set on my old 93 black on black and it help the car pop a bit more they were on my car in my sig. The 10 spokes are on my 95 now
