Okay saved some money mods question

Okay i bought a zex wet nitrous kit finally bought gauges (fuel,nitrous) but im thinking i should go with sct for a chip where do i order it?I wanna get the chip that lets me get a 93 octane tune for n/a then a race gas tune for nitrous or just a nitrous 93 octane tune.I run 93 all the time so no big deal.I bought underdrive pulleys already and im doing exhaust on my car this weekend.But is 2.5" to big?I wanna run dual 2.5" right off the manifolds to a x pipe then to some type of nice flowing muffler's like a cobra to get rid of that y by the irs.

Oh yeah what should i do for a intake?Was gonna done a big K&N filter right behind the headlight or something idk.
 
Magnaflow has a Dual in/ Dual out muffler with an internal X pipe. That's what I used to get rid of the y pipe.
 
Check your local savage yards for an LSC, which came with a dual exhuast, dump the 3rd cat for an X pipe, back to some FlowMaster D40s and stock Gen2 tips, that's what my system is and I think it sounds great...it can get to a very low drone, and is very mild on the frw, but when I open it up to WOT in the power band it deffinatly turns heads,
sounds like a 4 valve should

you can get a decent X pipe on craigslist for about $8
 
So nobody has used that chip?The one you can choose between 2-3 different tunes.
 
The 2-3 different tune chips IMO are for cars that push high horsepower and see track and detuned street use. The chip with the stock switch is more practical for a Mark VIII, so you can change it back to stock if you sell it or whatever. I run the basic chip from BOC and when I change something I send it back and have it reburned. I guess if you do your mods a little at a time and then switch to the other tunes or whatever. Seems pointless to me.

Sorry im a newb whats that chip for the ebay listing u linked?Also the reason why i want that chip to flip from tunes is im going to do a 125hp shot of nitrous so i need a few degrees of timing pulled.Then would like a n/a 93 octane tune .
 
I'm pretty sure it won't work on a mark, but I have two diablo chips with switches for multiple tunes. I'd sell them cheap, but I'm 99 percent sure they won't work on a Mark.
 
there is a switch with a 6 ft cable that is available for that chip, to switch tunes. i believe its around $25 Simoleans. that chip will hold 4-5 tunes and with the switch you can change tunes on the fly.......
 
I told you way long ago in this thread, www.blueovalchips.com It is an SCT chip only its $325 for the basic chip. Have them burn you two tunes and I will give a switch or they will sell you one too. BOC has way better customer service and a better order form. I wouldn't by a square of toilet paper from superdoucheperformance. The guy charges 80 bucks for poly rear isolators that you can buy for 20 bones.
