Thats cool... We will be flying out there in Feb to hopefully catch the last shuttle launch. But if there will be a meet sometime I will need to make sure my Mark is road ready and I will make the long ass drive.

hey SS i have never seen a launch from the east coast, i wont miss this last one, i want to go see it too. i have been able to see 3 of them from my shop in the past, but it just looked like a flare being shot into the sky, i want to see it a mile from the launch pad, i want to actually feel the launch!! plus i love sonic booms so i will be there for sure.

Ive never seen one and that's one things I wanted to add to my Bucket List when I create one. But the shuttle is retiring long before I need to start my Bucket List.

In April I drove down from MN to the cape and the closest I got was 12 miles. You can get closer but it's $30-$50 a ticket and your still 5 miles away. Still definitely very cool to see! It was on my bucket list since I was 4 and when I was living down there, they weren’t flying them because of the Columbia.

The spot I was in was Cocoa Beach right between the 405 and 406 along the inercoastal. I would recommend getting there 3-5 hours early and bring an aviation radio to listen to the countdown. I will be down there in October for the last Discovery flight but unfortunately I will miss the last one because I might be in Basic training by then.

There a little out of order... the seconed one and third one should be swaped

i did get the 1500 i needed i sold my 93 and took a little from staff, i still have to buy 2 plane tickets me and my wife are both gonna go up and get it that way she can drive too i have a super hard time driving long trips without falling asleep. i dont want to borrow anymore money from anyone because i hate knowing i owe anyone money and i dont know when i can pay money back with my shop rent, house rent, utilities, feeding 4 mouths its just a bitch. its gonna cost me 208 bucks for 2 tickets plus gas and crap coming back, its gonna be fun! i'm gonna be spread thin this month but i'll recover! i appreciate all the offers but i dont want to borrow anything more than i have to. i dont borrow from people, my motto is, if i cant buy it myself i dont need it, this car was an exception though.
