Oil life resets to 60% not 100%?!?

Just did the first oil change on my '98 LSC, and the information center resets the oil life to 60%, not 100%. It was on "Change oil soon" before I changed the oil. Does anyone have a clue whats going on?

You can adjust the percentage of remaining oil life IIRC.
