Oh the joys of having spare parts

Started the 1993 up on Saturday to take it a ride. Check Air Ride came on...

Car ran OK and upon getting to my destination I notice the car had dropped .. Tried restarting the car and compressor didn't run. Oh $hit ... So I turned off the air ride and drove home with a little extra bounce, but not too bad.

Remembering that I had Eddie's Adrenaline system I figured I could pump up my bags manually.

Bags are fairly new, compressor is only 3 years old, I was hoping that it was the relay and I have a few of those on the shelf.

Yup .... relay ... cool ...

I can think of 5 parts off the top of my head that every m8 owner should have either at home or in the car. Just buy them one at a time, it's worth the piece of mind.

I guess it depends on year and if it's a dd or not.

For me....Vcrm, scil, cops, clockspring, mfs, or pretty much anything important thats obsolete.

spare parts

Just finished installing an engine in a 97 and noticed l/f brake line leaking that goes from rubber brake hose to abs unit. Remembered removing good one from parts car last year and wala, problem solved. Can't have too many spare parts for these cars. Thanx Bruce
