I just picked up a set of Octastars and measured them, they seam to be 8 x 17s is this correct or am I not measuring them properly. So, are they 8 x 17's or the standard 7 x 16's

Thanks

I like how you can see your VIII in the reflection in the last photo. Those rims look to me in good shape.

Thanks, They are in pretty good shape considering they are 9 years old. They have some pitting on them and 2 of them have a little curb rash. But that's it. From 5 feet away they look awesome.

We should try to hook up sometime this summer and have a beer. I spend most weekends down at the lake of the Ozarks. We've got a condo down there. I looked in your garage but saw no car what do you drive?

a 7x16 wheel will physically measure about 8x17. You need to be measuring the diameter of the bead seat where the tyre sits not the actual rim edge. Also need to measure the width between these seats not from outer edge to edge.
