obd2 code

I have a 2004 Lincoln ls v6 and it wont start. I hooked up the obd2 car reader up to it and it gave me a code of P1235. does anyone know what this code means and how to fix it.

P1235 Fuel Pump Control out Of Range (Fuel Pump Driver Module/VLCM)

The LS does not have a seperate FPDM but uses the REM to control the fuel pump duty cycle.

Does the car have lots of gas in it?
