yeah i am looking to trade in my current car mustang gt , in on a 02 lincoln ls, but i had heard that they have a problem with blowing head gaskets? does anyone know of this? or maybe know of anything else i should look out for before purchasing??????

never actually heard of a head gasket blowing.

no worries - just remember when you read about 'problems' on internet forums you often get an exaggerated view since many people come to forums when they have issues looking for help.
yeah i understand. i was actually at the lot last night about to make the trade, when i rememebered that one of my buddies who knows his sh1t, told me they have a head gasket problem, the car only has 40k on it, i fugured it would still be under factory warranty anyway, but wasnt sure so i walked away from the deal lol

If anything, the dealer might think you're a good haggler now by walking away from the deal.
