No more green LEDs!

Anybody know what size resistors we need for the interior lights (overheads, under dash, glove box)? Or does that depend on what type of bulb used?

the lights i used for all the dome lights already had a resistor built into them

Mine didn't. :(

Thats weird. If you got the ones made for vehicle applications like the wedge based bulbs they should be ready to go. Its the loose LEDs that you need to worry about resistors.

Let me look up a calculator people use on another website for yah.

I got the 194 bulbs, whatever the inside of the car uses. They stay dimly lit while driving and then eventually go off. Nothing major, just slightly annoying. I have the get the packaging that the lights came in to figure out what resistor I need, from what I searched online. I'll do that later on.

Oh you need the load resistors? I wouldn't worry about those for the interior just for the turn signals and I think other exterior lights.

Red is the only color that doesn't affect your night vision.... and I love the way it looks, very calm on the eyes...

uck, i know the red is better for night vision, but they all have a orange tint, and look like shyt. its funny but thats one out of many reasons i WOULDNT buy a pontiac lolol

The Audis never had an orange tint...baybe you been havin too many orange skittles lately :/

To each there own :)

At least the Mark has more of a blue tint than a straight green.... can't stand the green that was in my Vic, switched it all to red.

So if I go with the super uv led's am I going to get decent light output? I want to change the gauges and such over to glow the same color as a lot of vw's with the red needle but also have white face gauges.

I think that might build some terrible contrast. IMO it might be a strain on the eyes.

I would only do it on the buttons and gauges. The dome lights and what not would be super white. People keep saying this but the vw gauges are the same color so why would it be such a strain on the eyes in the LS?

I like the green, Ive been in a Ford all my life so Im totally used to it :D

Explorer > Expedition > Excursion > Lincoln LS

Of course the first three were my parents.
