Next time you're at a stop light...

Haven't been able to get into scotch. Bought a bottle of Lagavulin 16 a while back. While it was good, I just can't cough up $75 for a bottle very often lol.

That is the problem with drinking single-malt: if you do not spend a few bucks, it sucks. Although you could probably find something you liked in the $40-50 range...Glenlivet/Glenfiddich is a viable option. Oban or Macallan 12 are great choices too.

I like nothing better than a peaty Scotch (like Laphroaig) with a decent cigar, but single-malt is my go-to whenever possible.

I never developed much of a taste for scotch or whiskey. I can drink them but I don't normally go to them for some reason.

My favorite rum is Cruzan Single Barrel Estate. This is not the same stuff that is normally sitting on a shelf. I have to go to a liquor store (not grocery store) to find it. Very good smooth and clear taste. As far as Vodka goes I like either Grey Goose (the vodka-flavored one) or Belvedere chilled. In fact I have a bottle of Belvedere in the freezer at work right now.

We tend to celebrate not yelling at clients on friday :)

Never liked the taste of tequila so I normally avoid it. Also possible I just haven't had one I like yet.

I also keep a random bottle of Syrah/Shiraz, Merlot blend, and Sauvignon Blanc for cooking with. I love cooking with wine so much that sometimes it even gets in the food. :)

I think we all have a drinking problem....

only a bunch of alcholics could thread jack a car singing the national anthem into the travishamockery it has become! cheers!

also, it looks like you need to dust your dashboard Pete

also a little concerned that you took the time to snap a picture while in reverse!

lol. Yeah, left my windows down at work that day. It was more pollen than anything.

And the pic while in reverse... I'm part of another forum, where we have a thread dedicated to "what we picked up at the liquor store today." Everyone normally takes a pic with the bottle in front of the steering wheel like that. I had already pulled in the garage, and forgot to snap a pic, so I backed out real quick to get into the sun.

And yes, only a bunch of drunks could thread jack like we do. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a bottle of Bulleit that's calling my name.

Oh, and Woodford Reserve used to be my favorite before the Bulleit Rye. But I go in phases.

Ive been just rotating around with a new bottle each time, from the looks of it, I'm a glass or two away from trying a bottle of knob creek, I'll give the Bulliet a try next go round!

A "what we picked up at the liquor store today." thread! you cant make that kind if ish up! ROFL
sounds like an interesting forum.

... Bourbon or scotch, as long as it isn't from Canada.
Sorry bigrig, I hate your countries whiskeys lol

Yeah, I think they put bacon or maple syrup in it. j/k

Forty Creek is pretty good for a Canadian product ...

Wisers Red Letter ... also not too bad, if you can find it.

King of Canadian whiskey = 18 yo Gibsons.

It's a cigar forum, with mostly UK guys.

The main one I frequent is www.cigarasylum.com. Great group of guys.

As far as the Bulleit, I've never had the regular, only the Rye. Just finished it off last night, actually.
