And I thought me on my 2nd motor was bad enough. Are you sure it's just the motors or the way you're taking care and driving the car? I mean even my car had it's problems when there wasn't much care and now I treate it like it's special so I have yet to have a problem since march.
 
I've thought about the oiling issue but couldn't find anything wrong. As far as over revving it, i don't really know. On the first motor I've never held it on the rev limiter and I shift before the red light when ever i decide to have some fun. However with the other motors the warranty company kept getting, the second they started having problems and didn't want to do anything about it I did what ever it took to blow em up.
They all had preexisting problems from the start.
2nd motor lugged at 4800 rpm, and didn't sound the same (sounded like the cats where plugged but they weren't. 3rd motor the valves ticked. 4th motor had ticking valves and slight knock and lugged at 5000 rpms.
 
I'm going to forget about doing the 4.6 swap. Since the computers compatibility still haven't been cracked yet i'll pass on that.
How ever (and again feel free to throw it in my face) is it possible to drop the 04 motor with the VVT heads in my car and be able to just do plug and play?
