Need a little help I've finally found a set of wheels I feel that are worthy of my liking.
The problem I'm having is I know both offsets will work(thanks to old threads), however if I deside to do the eibach drop. Which I'm pretty (80%) sure I'm going to do. I want to have the best fit possible. Rubbing is something I won't settle for. I think I know how lowering effects offsets, but I'm not completely sure, cuz I'm a dumb ass. Lol. I would like to run a 245-40r19, instead of the suggested 245-35r19. How much clearance will I have with the eibachs? It's not a really big deal to me which size tire I run, but the roads around here aren't great but there not terrible either, which is why I would prefer the 40s over the 35s.
I used the wheel offset calculator, helped a little, but Idk how lowering directly effects offset.

The wheel info:
19"
8 1/2" wide
Come in either 42 or 45 mm offsets.

Let me know what you think of the wheels. I think they'll look good on the LS.
You're suggestions and advice would be much appreciated!!!!
Thanks!

Also when I get these I'll be selling my Chrome 06 17"s. There in excellent condition no flaking or curb rash, they're wrapped in brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (>3000 miles). Pm me if interested make me an offer.

I run 245/40-19's and plan to do eibachs. And I know another person who has the same wheels as me is also running 245/40-19 (on the LSX, whoever the owner may be now). But our wheels are 19x8. Don't know if your wider wheel will affect it any. And my offset is 49 I do believe.

Lowering doesn't affect offset. Offset is a fixed value between the face of the hub and the inner wheel lip. Wheel width has as much to do with rubbing as offset. I had rubbing with a 245/45/18, 40mm offset, 8" wide wheel/tire combo and Springtech springs. It was a little better with 245/40/18.

I looked again at the wheel offset and width. IMO you WILL rub with any lowering.

I think you'll be ok with an 8.5 wide wheel, and could PROBABLY get away with a 245/40, but I'd run the 245/35's instead. With Sentas, which are 20x9 49mm offset, I rubbed at full steering lock and when I hit big bumps. That is with a 255/35 tire and lowered on Eibachs.

Don't springtech springs lower the car quite a bit more then eibachs. ??

They look gargantuan (spelling?) on that mercedes

Just placed my order. Should have them wrapped and on the LS by the end of the month. The weather here will be the main factor.

I am excited to see what these look like.

Hard to tell by your signature, but do you have Eibachs or not?

I do not have Eibachs, I am planning on them.
Wheres the cheapest place to get a set? EBay?...Amazon?

EDIT: Just ordered a set from eBay for 259.89 shipped
I hate spending money. It will so be worth it though!!!!
