New wheels and tires + lowered (daytime pics)

You can hear a bad rattle when the turbo spools.. The gauge cluster is out of place also.. Not even the right color.. Agree with the radio kit..

It's low but not that low.. 380p is fair enough to tell..

No its 240 click on the video and it takes it to the main page and just look at the video...its a crappy cell phone video.

Maybe joining the club...

oH MY GOD..

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL
I couldn't believe how beautiful, and flashy and fancy they looked when i first set eyes on them lol

wrapping with?

not sure yet. I was thinking about transferring the tires from my Barcelonas. The thing is they are staggered. 225/40--255/35

Not sure if 255s will look goofy on an 8" wheel

So where did you get them?

And yea. photos don't do them justice - The are very glossy and the machined spokes are the perfect contrast.

It looks like you don't have lugs on in the photos, but I recommend a chrome nut - Really pops with the spoke and black combo.

Mlara - you are a total a$$hole :)

I looked for those wheels for over a year before I bought my Jags. Where/how did you find them. I saw them on Andrizzle's car and immediately wanted them but after contacting EVERYONE AND EVERYWHERE, I could only come up with 2 wheels or the wrong bolt pattern etc.
They do look sick - as they always have.

I have ran into 2 sets but in 18 that I posted here and recently another in 19 on a jag with new tires. The 19s went down before I could post them though.

How many sets of wheels do you have?

These are the best on your car IMO, probably tied with the Barcelona's

mlara inspired me to finally get my new tires put onto my wheels this last weekend.

Will have to get some new pics, gotta show you guys the LS's new home!

Thanks everyone, certainly don't regret my decision.

haha thanks dude. I agree. Puts me in a difficult spot. I may need to sell a set. Not sure which yet, I'm going to need to see the ASAs with tires first.

Andrizzle, a few inquiries...

You use your ASAs all year round? how are the rims holding up to the salt? I believe you had Hankook v12s last, how did they perform in the winter months? how did you like them overall?

which tires did you go with now? also what size? hows the ride with 245/35s? thoughts on going with 245/40s?

sorry for the 20 questions lol

and definitely look forward to the pictures!

Yea I use them all year. We don't get much salt down here, but two years ago we had several large and rare winterstorms and they were exposed to salt. They did not flinch, then again I wash my car in the winter. (And then it was parked outside)

As for winter performance, they did just fine when driven on lower snow amounts - but anything more than ~8 of inches usually shuts down the city. I avoid driving my LS in heavy snow due to the LSE Plow effect.

I had the OEM 8 spokes on the last 2 months because I neglected a tire rotation and chewed through my rear V12's.

Just this past weekend I had Falken Azenis PT-722s mounted onto the two wheels that had the trashed V12's. At the time I did not pay much attention to tread wear rating and apparently the Hankook's have a really low one. These new Falken's have double the tread wear rating, or close to (can't remember).

Anyways the V12s were great, but I can't afford chewing through rubber that fast. I figure I can burn these Falkens down on the back for a while and get back into rotating the front Hankooks with the Falkens.

Not sure about trying a different size, I love the look of my 245/35 - the ride is complete ass compared to stock tire sizes - but then again you're not maken panties wet with stockers.

Mlara I know my car is not lowered yet but I didn't notice any ride change from stock to my 245/40's. our roads are not the best. I'm glad I have the little extra sidewall and the ride is just as good as stock to me.

How many miles do you drive daily drizzle?

My yokohamas have a treadwear of only 300 with 15K miles on them and they still look new.

I think your issue is the lowering.

Oh yea it is definitely from lowering, I can see the lopsided camber in my rear wheels by just looking @ my LS. I just made a mistake of getting a more performance oriented tire the first time instead of a tire that lasts longer.

I drive ~20 miles round trip with work on weekdays. And that is probably 19 of them on freeway.
