Hello everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have a 2003 LS8 all options including navigation. I bought my car October of last year with 14,000 miles on it. It currently has 20,000 miles on it and I just extended the factory warranty on it 2 weeks ago for another 1 year.

Anyway, I just ordered the KKM intake for the car and plan on getting the Magnaflow exhaust system for the car later.

I have already spoke with both Kenny and Joey, both are very nice and are well spoken. My intake should be here tomorrow and I am very excited to see what type of results it will yield because as you know, the stock air box robs the engine of much needed airflow.

Also, I need a 2007 Navigation Denso disc, does anyone have a hook up or know where I can get one besides Navteq. I have checked eBay but they are hard to come by. Thanks in advance.

Its just an open gallery, I wont be using it for anything else at this point so if someone wants to mess with it, more power to them.

Is there a heat sheild availble for purchase through Kurtz Kustomz Motorsports, Inc whom makes the intake? Do you know if the K&N's intake heat shield is compatible with the KKM?

I am preparing to order an LSE grille for my car as well! Should look good--
 
welcome. i have the same model/yr as you. the intake will give your car a nice sound. i wanted an exhaust too but the intake gives it enough sound and a little more power. personally i'm going for mainly a luxury look and i think the exhaust may ruin that.

Their weren't many Medium Steel Blue Metallic cars made were there for this year? I never see them at all. Color code is "SP"

Anyone on the LVC has the same color/model as me?
 
mines black tho. i don't see many that colour. im sure someone handy could look up the #'s made each year of each different colour.
 
Welcome.

Magnaflow does not make an exhaust system for the 03+ cars. If you want a different sound, you can change the mufflers, but in terms of performance, its about as optimized as it can get from the factory.

The K&N intake systems have a heat shield, but the KKM does not. If the heat shield is important to you, you may want to go with one of the K&N models.

On the Nav disc, you can keep checking eBay or just bite the bullet and shell out the $200 to Navteq for the latest version.

That sucks they don't make one for an '03....I just became aware of this not too long ago. I guess XCAL2 is next for me, maybe and LSE grille.
