New rims for the spring

Honestly... it came like that when i purchased it at a Lincoln dealership in southern california. Who ever had it as a lease added the body kit, tint, and the grill.... I didn't have to do anything to it but add the wheels. .. Scratch that.. i did buy the smoke corners and the smoke turn signal from LS Koncepts... couldn't stand the amber lens it came with. But ya... i am happy with the way it came out.

Worked and still work just fine. Same situation, my wheels in front were up against the brake caliper. The shop has spacers right there and threw them on. Aligned and balanced, rolling on 20's with no noticeable difference from the factory ride.

That reminds me, ROLNGTZ referred me to this great site ya'll have here. not sure if his username is the same here as on car domain.

update!
6mm spacers came in on Saturday and the rims no longer rub against the calipers! :)

Nice looking LS. You have either the Razzi kit or the Extreme Deminsions Duraflex kit. Not sure why they only installed the sides and rear thou. I have the Razzi kit. But ED uses my LS to sell there Duraflex kit.

RollinLS I've been admiring your ride for a while, didn't realize that was you. Thanks for referring me to the site. Even though Hard White got kind of an icy reception lol

You have to have thick skin to hang here. LVC is the best place for LS info. Plus, its a fun as hell to hangout here and just BS to pass the time. There are a bunch of good guys:Beer and crazy characters:drunk: here.

Ohsnap you need different tires with those wheels, they look way too small for the LS and make the gap between the tire and the fender look huge!!! What size you running?

i was just thinking something, since we basically have to use spacers for 20's how much of a difference would it be to just get wheel adapters if they are around 1/4 inch thick? then we can put whatever lug pattern we want with them, or would they still stick out too far? if they stick out too far i could get those chrome fender pieces that stick out the car a little, and just paint them black to match the car

damn i think the smallest is 1inch thick

this is off a volvo with the same 5x108 lug pattern, converted to 5x114

lol those are 18s too, thats why i have to go with 20s and a size 40 tire, there will be no gap i hope:D

the "40" is not a "size" per se, but a ratio. it stands for the percentage of the width. so, a 245/40 tire is 245mm wide, and the sidewall is 40% of the width - 98mm in this case. A 235/40 tire would have a sidewall height of 94mm.

thanks, i wish would get use adapters and do some body work and mold fender flares onto the fenders and paint them and blend them all into the car, i wonder how it would look then just alittle wider i think
