"New"/"Prototype" Roof Spoiler Design For LS!!!!

Wife called me yesterday. Informed me the roof spoiler had arrived. Got home tonight. Open it up. To my surprise. I recieved 2 roof spoilers. The "original" design. And the "new" design. A prototype perhaps? The sellor had PMed me saying he was shipping me 2. He asked that I take pictures and send them to him.

After seeing the "new" design. Now, I understand why he raised his price for the roof spoiler. The "new" design is half the wieght. The material used reminds me of my M5 lip spoiler. Tappered on the ends with a upwards curve. Here are pictures of the two side by side. The "new" design is what I think most of us were looking for. I will get pictures of them on the LS sometime this weekend.

I'm assuming the new one is the top one in the first pic. The bottom one looks like the one I received. Could I ship mines back and just pay the difference?

I am not sure what his plans are. He hasn't told me anything. Just asked me to take pictures of it on the LS and send them to him. I am assuming this is the "new" design. Which would explain the reason he has rasied the price. I am just speculating here.

Definitely not a trunk lip spoiler.
