New problem...

Ok so I changed spark plugs, air filter and pcv valve. I put it all back together and started the car. Started fine. Then idled funny. Check engine light came on. I drove the car and if you give it gas it's fine otherwise it stalls. Plugs are NGK, pcv valve is aftermarket and the airfilter is motorcraft.
Ok I did break something. Let me see if I can explain.
The small back "thing" directly to the left of the brake resevoir, it has a round top, 2 nuts that hold it on a bracket. Well there are 2 plastic hoses that go into it. I cracked one. I figure I would get some vacuum hose and use it to connect the plastic together?
Would this cause my problem? What is that thing?

My other concern is that I may not have sealed the throttle body tube correctly, what a PITA that thing is makes me want to install a cobra intake. Anyway, any hints on how to check if it is sealed on the throttle body? Any hints on puttin that pita on?

For the intake tube I remove the 4 screws from the windshield wiper shroud, pull the rubber gasket under the hood half way off, oh, this is for the passenger side, then the plastic can be lifted somewhat and you can get to the 1/4 inch center bolt easier and the tube will be able to be lifted off a lot easier without breaking sh*t, hope this helps and maybe someone has a better way of doing it.

I will try that when I get home and make sure the tube is sealed securly on the throttle body.

Yes. I've broken one of those same lines and used vacuum hose to connect them back together.

It's the EVR filter and yeah, a vacuum leak might cause a problem. Check to make sure the MAF is hooked up, too.

OK so I got home, I put vacuum line over the broken plastic line I broke, checked my connections and found one for the MAS was loose. Car runs great now.

You didn't plug the mass air back in?

Check to make sure the MAF is hooked up, too.

...and found one for the MAS was loose. Car runs great now.
