thanks, i know i feel like the white on top is alittle over powering, i am thinking about changing that too

keep the scheme you have now, but lose the green, and change the other two color so it doesnt look like a patrol car.

Your lines were great...you color choice is as bad as your personality. :D

lol, nice job keeping that LS on the low, im just thinking of ideas, yours it cool, i dont really like the tribal decals though, but nice paint job

i give you props for one thing, trying to be creative, but in all reality that paint scheme does not go with the natural lines of the LS. i really hate to step on toes and i know some people get defensive when someone knocks on their car but i just think you could have done it better. the pinstriping is a nice touch however, but the gray/black combo is so played out that you need to tell people that you are copying their style so that they can change theirs.

Just wanted to show jealous that it's not 100% original.
Thanks for the criticism, but the pics weren't really posted for that. But if you think someone may have decals on their car just ask first, because i think everyone here would agree, decals do not belong on a lincoln. Everything on my car is painted on, you may see it as 'tribal', but it was put on as i saw it, graphic pinstiping, to go along with the trunk. I loved the 2-tone trunk line and wanted to incorporate it into the front of the car, just didn't go as well as i thought, I'm kinda torn about removing it from the hood and not the trunk. So that's up in the air
The colors are not simply black and silver, but pictures can not really do paint justice. If you look real close, you can catch the blue hue. the silver is actually a titanium pearl, and the black is actually a really dark blue (only in sunlight) all other times it's just easier to say yes, it's silver and black.
I will start my own thread on my car soon, i don't intend on jacking his thread, just wanted to speak up quickly about paint idea.
Didn't want him to stumble across my car and start a thread about paint scheme jackin again.
 
Relax milLS, you don't need to get defensive man, not everyone is going to like the same thing, I think you LS looks good.

Thats just part of being active member here, lots of opinions and in the owners eyes some of them aren't what they want to hear.
 
naw man i'm not offended. Just didn't wanted be clear that's all.
 
Oversast/cloudy days are not good for picture taking. You can see the heavy cloud cover in the reflection on your trunk.
 
Mill, while I'd never do that to my car it looks miles better then the reverse like linc was thinking of doing.

I'd rock that! Say a tree fell on the back of it and wasn't fixable :D My last car was a 5 speed convertible and I loved that thing but it was too expensive.

you went with the hood bump line, thats a pretty simple idea, seen a few times before.. when i came up with the idea, i didnt think someone else did it on the LS yet, so im glad you posted, but because you showed me yours, now i know what i would do different, i personally like the reverse, so i can tint the headlights to blend into the paint and change the appearance, i see that you noticed i made a paint scheme jackin thread, maybe you didnt understand, i created free hand lines, and then saw the same exact lines on another car, it would be kinda hard to have the same exact scheme as yours, unless i copied, which was my point in the other thread
