Just wanted to say high to every one here. I'm a proud owner of a 97 deep blue Mark. I paid 1900 cash for it. New engine with less than 10k miles, no problems except for clear coat on roof and driver seat will not raise up. The car also had A alpine nav system and Alpine alarm with cd changer and a nice custom stereo installed in it from a local shop here in detroit area (Mickey shore). It runs nice, but if i let the car sit for a day or two it lowers slightly in the front but goes right up when started. The guy was a real fan of marks as he had all the paper work for the engine install, and for the oil changes (mobile 1 syn!) he also delivered the car with all the paper work as this was a lease turn in when he purchased it. I even got the sticker sheet in mint condition. He tossed in a spare rear neon panel, and a spare driver side seat moters assembly with the motors still in it. My questions is i need to fix my seat asap! i wanted to know is there a way to fix the back as it is stuck laying flat on the rear seat. is there a part i can purchase for this? also my turn signals on the mirror are intermittent, some times they work and some time just a few leds light up. and the driver side heated seat does not heat up. all of this he disclosed before i even saw the car. i'm thinking its a short. He also couldn't figure out why he was getting the code flashed via the airbag indicator 1 2. I know that means battery was disconneted. how do i clear that code? Yes I will take some pics of her and post it tonight. Any info will be helpful. I just wanted to say that the guy who name is marvin, delivered the car in such a way i felt i just brought a new lexus! he came to my house and looked very professional. he demo'd the car features and also had the boxes and stuff for the aftermarket equipment. Also he took time to make sure i was happy with the car. I used to work for an infiniti dealership in lisle,Il when i was in college and i felt i got the same treatment.
ps i tried the search but no help.
