Been a long time lurker...well heres my story

Ive had this car since i was 15 years old...(believe it or not)
it was my birthday present, given to my by mother who is now incauserated...
its a 2000 v6 lincoln ls
Ive looked at lvc since i was 14 and tried to sign up some time last year, long story as of to why i just found out how to get on....(silly me) but now im here

I've soo many problemos with this car its rediculous!
they're nothing from the norm here:

1st Tranny along with coils and vcg's and pcv, vaccums, spark plugs...etc 1500$ last summer

2nd Suspension: upper & lower control arms, stablizers, ball joints, tie rods, struts, and alignment 8 tires later...1200$

3rd Overheating: 3 thermostats, hydraulic pump, cooling fan and motor, power steering pump & pulley that BROKE!...grrrr! belts and gallons of wasted antifreeze...900$

to where i am now...about to get it out of the shop from the overheating and broke pulley...

this car has made me want to kill myself...

and all these "mechanical problems were paid for by me, every thing on this car that has been done financially comes out of my pocket...(true story)
gas, maintenece, & car insurance let i remind you im just 17...


whats been done to the car?...not much

pioneer 4000 double din
2 7'' headrest screens
15" flip down swivel screen
rear view mirror screen
pwer acoustik 3000 watt gothic series amp
2 15" cvx subwoofers

and thats basically it...all my money has been wasted into "running" the damn car...
dont have any pics loaded from my camera but here you go...exact replica of when i first got it

First off, i just don't think this car is a 2006.. and i really don't believe this car would have these problems so early, have you checked the nut behind the steering wheel?

Because most mechanics say thats the first thing they check...
 
also after reviewing the pics it looks like you have a fogged passenger headlight?
 
btw never said that was my car, i did however point out that i had no pics...its the same damn thing...same color, wheels, and everything else...and fyi the driver side headlight is fogged up on mine.

and ***** (sorry) the car is a 2000, damn near every ls has had the same problems

And maybe i was mistaken about what you had down for the year but i thought i saw you post it was a "2006 LS V6" not 2000, if i was wrong i apologize. but you did clearly edit your post.

chill out people....let the little fella get comfy be4 we start rippin him. Glad you joined the site, listen to the guys on here and you'll have an easier time straightening things out.

i didn't see name calling, i'm assuming editing. poor attitude to start with but i'm sure members here would give you the benefit of the doubt. but i'm sure you've already raised a red flag on yourself

welcome and sorry about the car woes, maybe trade it in or sell it and get something that won't cost some much in fixing things or just replace everything and it'll be like new.
 
first off...i apoligize for calling the dude a "dickhead", but he wanted to put me on blast for posting a pic of a car that was'nt mine when i initially said that i have no pics and that it was a "replica"...i will post pics as soon as i get the car back. it is still in the shop waiting for me. the cost to fix everything was 550$, but since i have to pay for it and im broke, i'm selling my speakers and amp...

and yes this car has been such a pain in the ass, but i've never wanted to kill myself, just a figure of speech. the emo jokes are hilarious, although i've never even heard of a black emo person...

ya'll do it big in the dirty dirty.....i like the woofers and screens man.....get some rims if you can afford it........I know all that electric stuff isn't cheap
 
I don't see why everyone was so quick to jump on this guys $hit. He said it was a replica of his car not the real thing just because he couldn't get pics up yet, its not like he was on here posting pics of the McLaren LS trying to claim it or anything, it was a 2000 V6 that looked just like his, and he stated that. Personally I think he was justified for what he said, and I wouldve done the same thing. I love this forum but a lot of times people are too quick to get on people and then everyone else follows. For the LS sucks comment, its not like he went and picked it out and bought it, it was given to him and quite frankly I would gladly take any free LS regardless of the year or model. Anyways slab, that system looks like it bumps that sucks you have to sell it, sorry for the bad first impression, and welcome to LVC.

How did you fit that monitor after the sunroof? I was told at Tweeter they cant do it.
