Im a new memeber on LVC i am 19 and have a birch silver(i belive thats the color) 04 ls with 40k on her i also have 20in kapones 8000k hids in headlights and 10,000k in fogs, 15% tint all around too dark doin 35 when i get the money to many tickets for tint. also have full jl audio system. Many more mods to come though only had the car since september. MY ls though for some reason has been in and out of the shop for the past month because in the morn i would have jump my car. I had brought it to the local lincoln dealership they had it for a few days and all they said is that there was a draw on the battery and they didnt know wat it was, so there goes $300. Then i had brought the car to tweeter who had put my remote starter in that guy also had my car for numerous days. he returend the car to me and said that he stands 100% by his work. (next morning dead car) so now my car is in the 3rd shop he has had the car for almost a week and a half now and he had done a batt draw test also and notice there was a draw that was just like leaving a dome lamp on over nite and is still traceing the prob down. does anyone have remote starter issues??? He has seemed to think it was the remote starter.(WHICH WAS $400). There were 2 out of the 4 fuses boxes in the trunk the were hottt to the touch. WTF IS UP WITH THIS

Might i add the 3rd person to look at my car had went to that same lincoln dealership to get the book on all electical guide and the book was BRAND new noooo one had even opened it huh so you think that when lincoln had it they would maybe OPEN THE GOD DAM BOOK

a bad alarm/RS brain could draw enough current to drain the battery even with a perfect install. place a digital multimeter in line with the battery cable, set it to current and Do Not start the car or turn anything on, and start pulling every fuse out and put it back in one at a time to see what circuit the drain is on. i would start with all the aftermarket stuff first. the remote start should be very easy eliminate as the cause. i have also seen jl amp that were set to signal sense instead of using a turn on wire, stay on too long or turn on for no reason and drain a battery. just some simple ideal to give you a place to start

I've heard of the trunk light staying on and draining the battery, although I don't know if that would drain it that fast. to find out, fold down the rear seat, shut the trunk and all doors, and then check the light.

:W

:GotPics: Or be banned.

BTW I would look at the remote start as the cause first.

Got her back today actually and the guy had gone threw all the wiring and jus put everything preety much back together and just so happens no draw didnt know wat fixd it it just works soo idk whatever i guess pics comin up!!!!

Does the guy at the shop have any idea whether or not the Remote Starter was the cause?

If so...let Tweeter pay for all of your shop costs!

Looks nice man, you gotta do something about the grill area though. With that mesh grill you can see that area behind too well. Somehow blend it in.

IK i let my buddy use my car like a month ago and he hit a dog w my car and took out like 4 of those slats and i got bored 1 day and dremeld it all out and put some mesh back there im not sure what to do yet not so down with all the chrome.
