new KKM CAI!

oh and the comment on the ruff edges, I'm not going to even worry about it, once the CAI is all mounted up you cant see anything..

can you send a PIC of the back of the car..looks like you have interesting look tail pipes??

thats the best one ive got. ive had a couple different exhaust setups. this sounds best. its only a v6 so flowmasters and magnaflows sounded really crappy. now i have skunk2s with different resonators. sounds different but cool. not a muscle car. they will be gone soon

I know i wasnt the only person that thought the N1 muffler would look good on the lincoln... I think if the mufflers were straight and coming out of cut outs.. it would look awesome... i would have went will longer tips those seem a little short... I still might do this!

if you can... please take a pic from directly behind the car

oh and sound clip is a MOST PLEASE

well the "tips" are a part of the mufflers. the bumper is cut out a little but because of the length of most canister style mufflers the bend coming over the axle forces them to have to angle down a bit unless you have an extremely sharp bend fabricated after the axle. i didnt want them to stick out so i did what i had to.
heres a funny clip from last spring. sound a little different but its hard to get a v6 to sound to cool

sounds good man... Nice job...

Oh i know the tip is part of the muffler... I would have went with a muffler that had along tip...

the only problem with a longer tip is that it would stick out more. these were the shortest overall length ones i could find. magnaflow has some awesome looking ones but they were just to long. heres an old sound clip from about 5 years ago when i first did the exhaust. car was dirty and stock looking then. and both wheels spun real good still now my diff is wornout so usually its one wheelie peely. im putting in the cobra diff with my turbo.

lincoln00, those N1's that you posted are simply a knock off of a Apex'i muffler.

Apex'i is a great company but I wouldn't say the same for those ones you posted for that fact, also we really were only busting your balls about the burnt tip thing;) . Apex'i makes quality parts for vehicles up to a V6 platform.

I never knew skunk made ones similar. It does sound good for a 6 cylinder!

Just wondering - are those the halos or did you figure out a way to get all 4 headlights and your fogs on at the same time? I know a while back there was a thread about this but I never saw anyone say they had figured out how to do it?

MAN i wish they would have made the V8 LINCOLN LS a 5 speed or even a 6!!!!!! I love the way that V6 sounds launching and going through the gears

just halos and fogs.

dont you think thats kinda low?
what if you drove through a flooded pothole or curb area?
what if you snagged a pothole and ripped it off without know, and the engine begins to suck up dirt and debris.

my hole front bumper would have to be ripped off for that to happen..... and i stay way from deep water in gutters and I dont drive through potholes... thats bad for more then just a cold air...

its not as low as you think... and to suck up water.. the filter would have to submerge in a pool of water to suck anything up

oh and just driving though bodys of water wont doing anything for water ethier... remember there is a INNER WELL WHEEL

When I get my ls out of storage in spring I will be fabricating an intake for it. I haven't looked much at openings and whatnot under the hood yet . But I will be sure to post up pics of the progress. ;)

Your car sounds good, and yes I am totally jealous of the 5 speed. :) :)

I must know though....

....where did you get the wing? :D
